Uses:

Dosage:
Clobetasol topical is available as creams, gels, ointments, lotions, foams, and sprays for use on the skin and as foams, sprays, solutions (liquids), and shampoos for use on the scalp. Clobetasol creams, gels, ointments, lotions, foams, solutions and sprays are typically applied twice daily. Clobetasol shampoo is typically used once a day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully and ask your doctor or pharmacist to clarify any areas you do not understand. Use topical clobetasol as directed. Do not use more or less often than prescribed by your doctor. Do not apply to other parts of the body or use to treat other skin conditions unless directed by your doctor.
Side Effects:
Some common side effects are:
- itching, irritation, redness or dryness of the skin

- small red bumps or rash around the mouth
- small white or red bumps on the skin
- bruises and shiny skin
Some side effects can be serious:
- severe rash
- skin wound
- Changes in the way fat is distributed in the body
- rapid weight gain
