Majuphal is formed in the leaves of oak trees and is known as oak gall. In general, there are two types: Majuphal Majuphal , which contains white bile, and Majuphal , which contains green bile.
Majuphal helps in wound healing due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Its antibacterial effect reduces the risk of skin infections. It also has astringent properties that help pull skin cells and tissue together, helping to tighten the skin. According to Ayurveda, gargling with Majuphal decoction reduces inflammation in the throat and treats tonsillitis. It also prevents bleeding from the gums and has a cooling and soothing effect due to its kashaya (astringent) and shita (chilling) properties.
