Tamsulosin, sold under brand names such as Flomax, is a drug used to treat symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and chronic prostatitis and to help pass kidney stones. Taken orally. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Tamsulosin belongs to a class of drugs called alpha blockers. It relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder to facilitate urine flow.Tamsulosin is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Tamsulosin is not FDA approved for use in women or children.


This product is used in men to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dutasteride works by reducing the size of an enlarged prostate. Known as an alpha blocker, tamsulosin works by relaxing the muscles of the bladder and prostate. This product helps relieve symptoms of BPH such as difficulty starting to urinate, weak urine flow, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently (even at night). Not approved for cancer prevention. It may slightly increase the risk of developing a very serious form of prostate cancer. Talk to your doctor about benefits and risks. This medicine should not be used by women or children.


Tamsulosin comes as an oral capsule. In general, take once a day. Take tamsulosin 30 minutes after him at the same meal each day. Side Effects:
