Dexmethylphenidate, sold under brand names such as Focalin, is a powerful central nervous system "CNS." stimulant drug. It works by altering the levels of certain natural substances in the brain.

Uses:

Dexmethylphenidate is a stimulant this is used to deal with interest deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

  • Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not real), new thinking or behavior problems, aggression, hostility, paranoia.
  • numbness, pain, coldness, unexplained pain, or a change in the skin color of the fingers or toes (appearing pale, red, or blue); or
  • Penile erection that is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours.
